change the value Category here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\profiles\<Profile>
0 = public
1 = private

Hi Balubeto,
You can follow these steps:
1. Click Start, input “run” (without quotation) in the search bar, press Enter Key.
2. Input “secpol.msc”, click OK.
3. In the left pane, click Network List Manager Policies
3. In the right pane, double click Unidentified Networks, you can change the type here.

network".
Why?
While, with the
method
of Miya
Yao,
I managed
to
change the
type of
network, but
I
was not able to
change the
label "unidentified
network".
Why?
